What you get
The answer, explained
Each question gets its answer and the reason, with the grammar or vocabulary point it tests.
Why the other options are wrong
For multiple choice, every wrong option is explained too, so you learn from your mistakes.
The usual question types
Multiple choice, fill in the blank, verb conjugation, reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, including DELF-style questions (A1 to B2).
Several questions at once
Paste up to 5,000 characters: a whole exercise set is answered question by question.
Example answer
This is the kind of result you get: the answer, the reason, and what's wrong with the other options.
Answer: ② fasses
Explanation: Il faut que expresses necessity, and it is always followed by the subjunctive. The subjunctive of faire for tu is fasses: Il faut que tu fasses tes devoirs avant le dîner, "You have to do your homework before dinner."
- ① fais: present indicative; it can't follow il faut que.
- ③ feras: future indicative; same problem.
- ④ as fait: passé composé, which is indicative, so it can't follow il faut que. (A past subjunctive, aies fait, would be possible.)
Key point: after expressions of necessity, wish or emotion (il faut que, je veux que, je suis content que), the verb goes in the subjunctive. Some very common verbs have irregular subjunctive stems: faire → que je fasse, aller → que j'aille, être → que je sois.
How it works
- Paste the questions with their options (up to 5,000 characters). Several questions at once are fine.
- An AI model solves each question, explains the grammar or vocabulary point it tests, and why the other options don't fit.
- The answers appear as they are written. Copy them, or ask the next set.
Answers are AI-generated and can be wrong, especially for questions that depend on audio, a picture or a passage you didn't include. Use the explanations to learn; this is not an official answer key. Not affiliated with France Éducation international, which runs DELF and DALF.
Frequently asked questions

Which question types work?
Multiple choice, fill in the blank, verb conjugation, reading comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, including DELF-style questions (A1 to B2).

No. It solves the questions you paste and explains them. It is not affiliated with France Éducation international, which runs DELF and DALF.
How accurate are the answers?
